Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, Padmavati is slated to release on 1st December 2017. The Release date of Padmavati has been announced as December 1, this year.


Padmavati Trailer Reviews and Dialogues

The creators have released the trailer of the film and we as of now can't take our eyes off it. From hugely exquisite sets to eye-getting brilliant outfits – Padmavati has each trademark of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati is one of the most wonderfully depicted ladies ever in Bollywood. Ranveer Singh is as threatening in the trailer as he looked in the principal look. Shahid Kapoor is an unexpected bundle dribbling our hearts away with his crude look.


The trailer's experience score is likewise a regard as each Sanjay Leela Bhansali motion picture. The ace, SLB, himself has made the music for the film. Shahid as of late treated his fans to an inquiry and answer session on Twitter, where one client asked his experience working together with Bhansali.
“Been a pleasure and a privilege,” Shahid replied.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati has been ostracized by Karni Sena, a Rajput community outfit, which has vowed to stop the film's release in several parts of India, including Rajasthan. Earlier, the film's shooting in Jaipur was also disrupted - sets were vandalized and Mr Bhansali was also manhandled.

Having said that, Bhansali makes good use of the Chittorgarh Fort to create drama. 
  • Ranveer Singh’s silence is brilliant. He portrays six of the seven deadly sins (Gluttony, Lust, Greed, Pride, Wrath and Envy, with Sloth being the last) of mankind without uttering a single line of dialogue. His laugh is brilliantly evil.
  • Shahid Kapoor looks calm and composed. His dialogue delivery is outstanding.

We hear only two dialogues in the trailer --
1. "Chinta ko talwar ki nok par rakhe woh Rajput..
Rait (Ret) ki naav lekar samandar (samundar) se shart lagaye woh Rajput..
..Aur Jiska sir kate phir bhi dhadh dushman se ladta rahe vo Rajput.."
and,
2. 'Rajputi Kangan mein utni hi taqat hai jitni Rajpuri talvar mein'.
  • The dialogue writer Prakash R Kapadia, who had penned the dialogues for Bajirao Mastani as well, delivers yet again.
The Padmavati trailer is outstanding, but caveat: this is legend.

Ranveer Singh has made a special place in the industry with his excellent acting skills and energetic and fun-loving nature. He has done some very challenging roles and has already won many awards in his 6-year-old career in Bollywood. He made his debut in 2010 with his film Band Baaja Baaraat. Recently, he was seen in the history-based romantic movie Bajirao Mastani in which he played Bajirao I. His next movie is Rani Padmavati which is the third movie of the trio Ranveer-Deepika-Bhansali. Ranveer will play a yet another very challenging role of the second ruler of the Khilji dynasty, Alauddin Khilji.

The ambitious and powerful ruler Alauddin Khilji attacked on Chittor when he came to know about the beauty and wit of the queen of Chittor, Rani Padmavati. King Ratan Singh, Padmavati’s husband, was sent a message that Alauddin wants to meet his wife as he considers her as sister. King Ratan was aware of the might of the ruler and so to escape his fury, he agreed to let him meet. Padmavati allowed Alauddin to see her reflection in the mirror which fascinated him and made him develop love for her. While returning back, Alauddin was accompanied by Ratan Singh where he arrested him and asked for Padmavati. It was finally told that he will get Padmavati the next morning.

The next day, they attacked on him and freed Ratan Singh. Afterwards, Alauddin surrounded the fort of Chittor and stopped the essential supplies which led to the Ratan Singh’s plan to go for an all out suicide attack as they couldn’t bear more. After that, all the women committed suicide including Padmavati.

Ranveer Singh lately underwent a surgery at Hinduja hospital. While shooting for 'Bajirao Mastani' he suffered an injury his arm. The actor had posted live Tweets from the hospital while undergoing the surgery.  The actor posted, "As for the injury, I'm fine. Mard ko Dard nahi hota...aur badi badi filmon mein aisi chhoti chhoti baatein hoti rehti hain ;) #shithappens."

Ranveer Singh Bhavnani was born on 6 July 1985 in Mumbai. He is the son of Jagjit Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani. He graduated from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and further flew to United States to pursue Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. Apart from being zealous towards acting and dancing, he also has his focus on creative writing. He returned to Mumbai in 2007 after getting over with his studies. He then worked for a few years as copywriter with agencies like O&M and JWT.

Ranveer Singh was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He, since childhood, had dreamt to becoming an actor. He was born and brought up in Mumbai, the City of Dreams. He made his debut opposite Anushka Sharma under Yash Raj Films with the movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat.’ The real-life pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were seen together in 'Goliyon ki Rasleela - Ram Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani' in which both of did a splendid job. Now again the pair is back together with their upcoming movie ‘Padmavati.’

Well, the story is very interesting! Ranveer has already done a historical film and did justice with the role. So the same is expected from this movie too. This film will surely get Ranveer many more awards. The acting skills of Ranveer, Deepika and Shahid will make the movie even more interesting.

Ranveer Singh to play Khilji in 'Padmavati' opposite Deepika Padukone!

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has already been in the news for a lot of controversies. The actor for the role of Alauddin Khilji was decided after going through a list of actors. But breaking all the rumours, it has been confirmed that Bhansali’s favourite Ranveer Singh will play the role opposite Deepika Padukone. Deepika is going to play Padmavati in the film. The movie is about Alauddin Khilji’s love for the queen of Mewar, Padmavati.

Earlier, there were rumours about the rift between Ranveer Singh and his mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It was also being said that Ranveer would not do this film due to the tension developed between the two. But now,as it has been confirmed that Ranveer is to play the role, the rumours seem to be baseless.

The costume designer of Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani, Ajay Kumar, made the actors look perfect for their roles by designing costumes according to the era and the story. Ajay is again ready to work for Bhansali’s next movie Padmavati. He cleared the rumours and posted on social media that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Kapoor are a part of the movie. This cleared all the doubts and made the audiences excited for the movie. Deepika and Ranveer will make ‘hat-trick’ this time, this is their third movie together.

Ranveer’s look for the role is not yet open but it will be quite interesting to see the actors as the rulers of a different era. Ranveer has done promising roles in his movies; he always does justice with the role. And so, it is quite natural to expect that he would make the role rememberable.
