Padmavati Movie cast - Deepika Padukone's 10 Crore fee for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati'?
Deepika Padukone is going to be seen soon in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next project Rani Padmavati playing the lead role of the queen of Mewar, Padmavati. The movie has been in the news with various rumours regarding the star cast and recently, there is a fresh rumour about the film. It is being said that Deepika is charging 10 crore fee for the movie.
Just a few days back, Deepika made into the Forbes’ list.
She has become the only Indian actress this year to enter into the list of
highest paid heroines. She has secured the 10th position in the list
and of course she deserved it. She has been giving excellent performances in
her movies and she does the role so perfectly such that it seems the role has
been formed for her only. So, it is quite obvious that she would be charging
high.
The rumours for her fee for this movie seem to be true due
to some reasons. Firstly, she has got into the top ten of the Forbes’ list and
secondly, all her movies are in 100 crore club and she has been so successful
in all her roles and lastly, she is going to make debut in Hollywood with xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. So, the
rumour was looking to be true as whether it is about commercial or critical
success, she has been successful in all of it.
Although the rumour seemed so true, but Bhansali’s
spokesperson said that the rumours are not true. He said ,“The
reports surrounding the star cast remuneration for ‘Padmavati’ are completely
false. The rumours are baseless and are being blown out of proportion,”. He has
put an end to the rumours by his statement.
It is also
being said that she will be paid more than Ranveer Singh. Well, we just want to
see the dimple queen Deepika Padukone in the movie and we wish her the best.
