Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s most awaited project ‘Padmavati’ is making the headlines these days. After the cast being confirmed, it is the film’s music that is being talked about. The director is all set to collaborate with the goddess of playback singing, Lata Mangeshkar. His lifelong dream is finally going to come true. The song will be composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself. By far, this is Bhansali’s most awaited project and its budget is estimated to be around 140 crore.
Lata Mangeshkar was last heard in ‘Tere hasne se’ in 2011 for the Bollywood film ‘ Satrangee Parachute’. The music recording for this period drama commenced last month with Shreya Ghoshal. Shreya Ghoshal has completed the recording of the first song of the movie. Nagpur based Shreyas Puranik will be composing the music for the film.
Bhansali’s next directorial venture is based on Rani Padmavati. So we guess that the song he has been planning for Lata ji will be depicting the love, longing and separation that Deepika will portray onscreen as Padmavati. If the deal happens to work out, we all can expect the film to be a huge hit breaking all the previous records. Witnessing the back to back success of ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela- Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’, the audience is anxiously waiting for reel and real life couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s antagonising chemistry in this historic flick.
